CHINCHILLA TAKING A DUST baTH
Chinchillas require dust baths to maintain their fur. Rolling around in dust helps remove excess oil from their fur. This helps keep the fur from clumping and matting. A chinchilla should be allowed to bath at least once a week. If the fur is open (has breaks) and has a greasy appearance then bathing more frequently is necessary.
